STYLE:
Dr. B finds it a privilege and an honor working within the context of a therapeutic relationship. Saying "since trust is the bedrock of any good healthy relationship; it is this bond that becomes the vehicle of change." She also has an open, direct, and interactive manner; this has allowed her patients to feel both safe, as well as cared for, allowing the healing nature of the therapeutic process to develop.
Dr. B says that the "psychotherapy process is, more of an art, than a science” and uses humor, when and where she sees how it will enhance the therapy process. Learning to trust one self as well as trusting our individual sense of knowing, is an integral piece of both the work as well as the outcome.
FEARS:

Most all issues and diagnosis are complex. What this means, is they are a combination. They are not just one problem. For instance, looking at an alcohol or drug problem; there is almost always depression.
